colorcode

A small studio that ships.

Colorcode makes software the way we want software to be made: a few products, each with a clear job, built until they feel right.

Why Colorcode

We started Colorcode because we kept reaching for tools that were powerful but joyless, or pleasant but shallow. We wanted software that is both, so we build it ourselves.

Right now that means TableDock for your databases, GitRainbow for your repositories, and Glassgrain for your camera roll. Different jobs, same standard: fast, focused, and a pleasure to use.

How we work

  • Few products, finished properly

We would rather ship three excellent tools than ten adequate ones. Everything gets the time it needs.

  • Open where it matters

TableDock is source-available. You can read the code that touches your data, and we think that should be normal.

  • Design is not decoration

An interface that stays out of your way is a feature. We sweat the defaults so you never think about them.
